tonight

me and keisha went to geisha house tonight for dinner. i got the veggie skewers which had 3 different dipping sauces,ILOVESAUCES!!....and a tuna roll which was tuna, alvocado, and rice paper on inside, with tomatos, peppers, more tuna ontop with a vinegarette dressing on it. AMAZING. and the rolls were bite size so it was edible........A in my book for that right there.

too expensive for the portion, but the portion was perfect......with 2 dishes.

got some really good sake, forgot the name, also too expensive for the size.

waiter was creepy and weird....dessert was $20+ gross.


over all i give it a 7 out of 10. good food way too expensive.

lets talk about yesterday

so yesterday i went out to pick up craig in the am to go take jazz. the 405 sucks, we didnt make it. so we ate at 4 n 20, went back to his house and hung out. he was about to go to sleep on me but then we saw bagas commercial so that woke him up QUICK. we went to trader joes to get him some food for himself, then went to jamba. after this we got ready for class and took antonios class. it was a dope routine to erika badu that song that goes "because i got the block on lock...." looooove that song. i wore a pregnant lady jumper to class with boots. (the usual (boring) dance attire is sweats with a shirt) afterwards a guy came up to me and said "you killed it in that dress!"

after antonios class me and craig went to jeffs condo. soooooooo awesome. such a cute place. i think he felt bad cause we were just sitting around so then the alcohol came out. he made us monster with vodka. i didnt think this would do anything but ummm we definitely got drunk. we had a newcastle after and walked our drunk asses to sarahs. thats right america, we were drunk at 4 pm. we got to sarahs and spoke of nothing but it was pretty obvious. they were bbq'ing, me and craig were still going on the cran vodkas.

-thinking that baga said barbra in his rap but it was bobby. and it took me until the next morning to get "whats up stephanie, how ya doin today? 89 cents is what were gonna pay. " (bagas commercial.)

- when it started to get dark i say " can we turn on some lights i feel weird."


christian skated over there after he got off the subway. me and preston got vegan thai food which was really good, then we went back to craigs to watch dancing with the stars. craig made cookies and sarah literally SCREAMED. after his AMAZING performance me and christian left and went home.

there were also shootings a couple blocks away from us so that was fun too.

i have issues

with hair extensions. only blonde ones tho. idk if theyre just over saturated or if theyre just tacky but theyre AWFUL. just let ur hair grow people. and if it doesnt grow....use horse shampoo. thank you for ur time.

this weekend in the life of chanelle......

this weekend was a good one. friday me and laura went to aroma cafe...i got the tofu and wild rice salad....not a fan. but that does NOT change my view on the place, let me tell u. then we went to some shops on melrose i got a tank. then we went to mr tea (featured below). that night i frantically tried to find us something to do then we decided to go have wine with liz and layke on her last day out here. its a little late cause we were trying to figure out what to do, so we get there as they were leaving. we all decide to go to this bar in venice. at this point im scared. let me tell u why. on our way to the wine place to meet up with them we pass by at least 10 places with huge lines, HORRIBLY dressed people (just for an example: MAJOR button ups), and skankies. ew. so we walk up and theres a line, and the line is full of button ups.....NO JOKE. its like god was like oh, so ur scared of lines and button ups...well here u go. so liz walks up to the bouncer and says "i really have to go to the bathroom can we just get in" of course he says yes because russ and liz have magical genes. so we go inside.....pass through a crowd of even WORSE dressed people (including rasta boys rockin out on couches) while walking to the wonderful music of 50 cent, up in the club. awesome. so were standing in line....drunkies in front of us got jacked by a boy for the bathroom and they let it happen. then liz goes for a bathroom and the guy FREAKS OUT. such a brat. hes like "was i not waiting?" i wanted to be like "is she not a girl?!" jerk. so we go to the bathroom walk out.....the lights are on and music is gone. im confused? its 1..........whats next u asked? we left. thats right people we had no choice but to just abandon the joint. then we stand outside like were in high school trying to find the next house party and flava flav comes up (ok its just his stunt double) and asks us what were doing and we reply "HOME" and run off. such an amazing night.


saturday: wake up, go to follow ur heart, had the BEST root beer in my life then chilled at home for a bit..... in the evening me and christian made turkey burgers for kevin and amanda even tho they had them for lunch earlier......my bad. BUT mine had brie in the center of the pattie so there!!! we made a feast man....well i guess i did...christian just grilled it. i had teriyaki zucchini, garlic and olive oil broccoli, and liz's famous ceaser salad all grilled. then i made myself a brie, caramelized onions, and spinach sandwich. YUM. such a good dinner. later on we went to the oc for the rumble minus kyle to spin. we get there, its kinda crazy, we realize were on sesame street, i do some kicks in my chair, liz buys us drink even tho we have bottles, we get molested by a stripper....no really, MOLESTED. i threaten kevin with ice, we had a full blown photoshoot in the over crowded hallway, dance the night away, HAD LOWER CASE EDGE THE WHOLE NIGHT!!! UGH!!!, the vip section was located in the bushes, liz got a wristband by saying her boyfriends a dj (not that shes lying but he willingly gave it to her without a doubt in his mind), being SO EXCITED that laura came and had a BLAST with her, me and amanda have a conversation about health food for the whole ride home, and finally i had to have christian hold my phone the whole ride home because i couldnt handle having LOWER CASE EDGE. aka such a good night.....pics for ur enjoyment via liz/kevins blackberries and shadowscene.com

sunday: we hung out, ate red brick with everyone before amanda left, came home i took a nap while christian played gta4 (sigh) then we had an AWESOME dinner at red fish, a restaurant out here. we got lobster mac n cheese, pistachio crusted halibut, and a wedge salad accompanied with a glass of wine. bombies.fool. we came home and watched pirates at worlds end, and i made us lattes. cute right? NOPE. I WAS UP TILL 4 AM. good job chanelle way to blow it. i could have gone out for prestons bday at that point. stupid coffeee.

inroducing: mr tea on melrose.laura is responsible for showing me this HEAVENLY place. it is a tea house and has 3 tea bars inside. one for loose leaf teas, one for tonics, and one for regular teas in which they have over 100 flavors. (even banana) you may get them iced, hot, or blended. in the blended ones they use ice, water, tea, and agave....which is all natural sugar that comes from a cactus. the best kind of sugar for u as far as im concerned.

i got a strawberry green tea blended and i have never tasted anything more refreshing in my life. it was so light and sweet but really smooth, it was like a slushy.



the menu is about 10 pages long front and back, and u may also buy this tea and take it home. they also sell accesories on their website for super cheap so u may partake in your house. (above)
